Each year we have a staff party for our pet sitters. It is a time for everyone to meet his and her fellow pet sitters, renew friendships, trade pet sitting anecdotes and share lots of laughs. (A sense of humor is a helpful quality in a pet sitter!) Each party has a theme which is depicted through the food. Below is a sampling of some of the invitations and a few menus are also included.

Honoring over 30 years of service (2019)
Arlene, Bella, Dean and Sugar were awarded the Presidential Scoop of Honor. Each of them has worked with Sit-A-Pet for over 30 years and thus deserved the coveted award: A golden scoop with their name in rhinestones.

Where has the time gone?
Hard to believe that it was 35 years ago that Debra Hollander decided that pet owners in the DC metropolitan area should have an alternative to boarding their pets or relying on friends/neighbors when they traveled … and thus Sit-A-Pet was born, giving them peace of mind that their pet and home were in good hands while they were away.
In the summer of 2015 the staff got together to celebrate those 35 years and the wonderful pet sitters who have made it possible.
We look forward to serving you and your furry family members for another 35+ years!!

IT’S A THREE-PEAT!!!!!!! Sit-A-Pet was voted the BEST PET SERVICE in DC in The City Paper’s Readers Poll for the third year in a row. Debra Hollander and Jeff Hallman attended the “Best of DC” celebratory bash.
