About Buttercup: (from himself) I was born in southern Illinois and spent the first 9 years of my life in the country side of Illinois and Maine before moving to Arlington in 2020. I really enjoy going out and I am glad that my mom lets me. We live in a beautiful community with many trees and grass. Our neighbors are also very friendly. They often pet me and open the building door for me when I want to go home. One funny thing about my mom is she used to nag me – “Don’t fight with other cats! Be more lady like!”. She stopped doing that as soon as she found out I was actually a boy a few years ago. I am glad that the vet here in Arlington helped set things straight with my mom!
