Likes: Loves basking under her heat lamp, crazy about crickets, adores attention, keeps her cool meditating on the Buddha, has a secret crush on the Geico gecko (love that accent!)
Dislikes: THE CAT!!, hates being called cold blooded (she has a warm heart), THE CAT!!, tank cleaning time, THE CAT!!, if her gecko meal is late she’ll give you a piece of her mind (did you know gecko’s talk?)
About Cookie: Koch’s day geckos are the third largest day geckos from the island of Madagascar, after the giant day gecko and the Standing’s day gecko. Cookie lives with a menagerie of rescued animals including reptiles, birds and cats. Each reptile has its own terrarium tank appropriately designed for its habitat needs including live plants. Her gecko housemates include a giant day gecko, Standing’s day gecko, crested geckos, gargoyle gecko, flying gecko and velvet gecko. I have been in reptile rescue for over 10 years and have grown very fond of these little guys and have rehomed many of them. Cookie is a very sweet and tame gecko who loves to chat up Maru, her Sit-A-Pet caregiver!
