About Jackson: Jackson is one cool cat. My husband and I adopted Jackson and his pal Homer as kittens in November 2016. They were born in Minnesota and flew to Dulles Airport where we picked them up. To demonstrate just how cool and calm Jackson is, he jumped out of his pet carrier and started playing with us almost immediately after we got him home from the airport. He was completely unphased by his day-long journey by air and car – he was, and still is, really amazing and resilient. Jackson has continued to be calm and resilient as our family has grown from just me and my husband to a family of five. Jackson loves our kids, even though they do all kinds of unpredictable things and have not always been gentle towards him. Jackson is very adept at quickly assessing when one or both of our boys are becoming overly assertive or aggressive and quickly flees to safety. He is also friendly to any visitors that come to our house and will cuddle up next to anyone who wants to give him pets.

Jackson also continues to play very actively with Homer, and the two cats are truly the best of friends.
