Name: Molly Pitcher Agen
Breed: Dilute Tortishell
Likes: Temptations, Churu, the idea of going outside, birdwatching, flowers, laundry, flushing the toilet (which has led to some uncomfortable conversations/explanations when I’ve been on teams calls upstairs and then Molly just randomly flushes the toilet)
Dislikes: The doorbell, actually going outside, the UPS man – she growls every time she sees him walk down the street. Don’t know what he did to her in a past life, but the girl is holding a grudge…
About Molly: Molly (nee Patty) was adopted (with her “sister” Abigail Adams, nee Selma) from the Animal Welfare League of Arlington in 2018 as a kitten. Molly has always been the more outgoing sister and was always a protector of Abigail. She is a sweet creature who just wants to play and always wants to be wherever her people are. Molly is a very curious cat, and based on her actions pulling the stopper out of the bathtub, flushing the toilet to watch the water flow down, or pulling various plugs out of the wall sockets, she was either a plumber or an electrician in her past lives. Or, based on her ability to climb in the treat bin and help herself when staff at the diner is taking too long, perhaps she was a free climber. While Molly is usually very shy around new people, she is just one temptation or churu away from hanging out with her new best friend.
By the way, all of our cats have been named after famous American women. We started with Clara Barton, then Dolley Madison. And now we’ve got Molly Pitcher and Abigail Adams.
