Name: Andy

Breed: Maine Coon Cat, fur is orange, eyes are yellow.

Likes: His mom, talking & listening, petting, purring, chirping, Fancy Feast, plastic, napping in the sun and sitting on jigsaw puzzles.

Thank you for adopting me and giving me such a wonderful forever home where I am loved and admired.

Dislikes: Bananas, strangers and knocks on the door, being restrained, and especially, Litter Robot.

About Andy: I first saw Andy in a double cage at the Arlington Shelter. His tail was so big and fluffy that they had to make his cage a duplex in order to accommodate his amazing tail. I brought my husband to the shelter to see Andy and he loved him right away. He was about 1 year old when we adopted him in 2006 and now he is a fabulous sixteen. Like many Maine Coon cats, he has the most adorable chirping, purring and mrrowing sounds. His favorite pet sitter is Arlene from Sit-a-Pet. Andy is the most affectionate and talkative cat we’ve ever had. If I even come near him he starts purring. I love him so much and look forward to him waking me up every morning. His fur is so soft and silky that I can’t resist running my fingers through his fluff whenever he wanders by.

Unusual things about Andy: He is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish. His ears feel like velvet.
