Name: Billy

Breed: Domestic Shorthair

Likes: Food. Going Outside. Food. Especially eating at the dinner table whenever the humans are around; he likes to jump up on the dining chairs as soon as a human starts cooking. He loves rolling around on the pavement for a “hot stone massage” in the summer. He loves being scratched behind his ears and hanging out by the humans’ feet. Sleeping, fully stretched out with his back curved is also a top hobby.

I am not fooled by the pointer light. Bring me a real mouse, please.

Dislikes: To be clear, there is no food Billy dislikes. Billy is not a fan of the cold and snow.

About Billy: Billy was adopted at around age 8 months after he was sent to the Animal Welfare League of Arlington from a kill shelter in South Carolina. He is about 10 years old now. He recently developed diabetes, but is taking his insulin shots like a champ. He likes to be picked up in an interesting position: the humans’ hands are under his front shoulders, with his body being vertically stretched out. He will also tolerate being picked up in the “normal” way like a human baby. He really loves being cared for by Sit-A-Pet! His family has been using them for 20 years! Not for just Billy, but for the cats that preceded him.
