Meet Mac!

Name: Mac

Breed: Abyssinian

Likes: Hiding in paper bags (or better yet, hiding in bag in a closet); sitting in front of the heating vent in Winter and in front of open windows in the Summer; and sleeping.

Isn’t that treat for me? I’m purring as loud as I can!

Dislikes: Sharing with my adopted younger brother Tooley who is an Ocicat. He is a little bit bigger than me and he thinks he is cute and so should always be seen first.

About Mac: I think that in one of my earlier lives I may have been a dog, or a dancer. I answer the door and phone; will follow workmen around the house (they don’t scare me unless they make lots of loud noise) and I will fetch and retrieve my special toy. But I have to tell you, I don’t play in front of Tooley because I don’t want him to play with my things. When Tooley came into the house I taught him every bad cat trick I could think of so he would get squirted by water and yelled at. No one yells at me. And if they try, I put on the best dancing performance I can. I sneak around the house and do whatever I want when the humans are gone. But when they are home, I’m on my best behavior. I’m a very loving cat and never do anything bad. The Vet says that I have Aby-tude, I’m not sure what that means. But I know that Tooley doesn’t have it. I’m very affectionate and I love to purr especially when someone brushes my back, rubs my ears and/or scratches my butt (that’s an Abyssinian favorite). I’m looking forward to my ninth birthday in April. I hope that my owners will buy me a pumpkin pie. It reminds me of my first Thanksgiving when I ate one right out of the oven. It was good!
