About Lemur: Lemur was adopted four years ago from 4 Paws. Little is known about his past as his previous owner has since passed away – but Lemur seemed to have been neglected as he was fearful of people. In the first year since his adoption, Lemur spent his days hiding under the bed, lying in wait for the moment when the house was empty so that he could sneak downstairs to eat. Both his adoptive mother and his pet sitter Sugar, respectively, would spend hours laying on the floor and reaching under the bed to pet him and earn his trust. Oh, what we humans will do for the love of our pets! Eventually Lemur warmed up to us, and now loves his new home and family, and is a certified couch potato!
